Sand Canyon Trail at Red Rock Canyon is a series of canyons and ridges sculpted by erosion of the area’s uplifted rock strata. In fact, it is an acient beach tipped nintey degrees like the nearby Garden of the Gods. The ridges and canyons offer beautiful views and sheltered enclaves and a 240 million year slice of geology. Dogs are allowed but must remain on a leash, there is a dedicated area for dogs off leashes.
